Our Favorite Picks: Revitalisation de la Passion de l'Amour

Lost spark. Predictability. Ho-hum. z-z-z-z-z. After time, the passion in a relationship can deflate quicker than a balloon left outside in the cold. This Valentine's Day, surprise your significant other by turning up the heat and watching things rise (*a-hem* We will try to keep this rated PG, 'try' being the operative word.)

Spice things up by cooking together. Perhaps something easy and chocolatey like chocolate covered strawberries. Sip on some bubbly champagne during the process. Don't worry about the messes. Apron recommended but clothing optional.

Light up the fireplace. No fireplace? No problem. Light up a collection of candles to create a makeshift fireplace. Turn down the house lights and prepare two hot toddies. Grab a big blanket and a book love poetry. Lie on the floor and take turns reading (with feeling!) to one another. Corny and a bit cliche but worth the try.

A hot, steamy bath for two followed by massages using sensually scented oils is the kind of pampering that is worth the time and effort. Play some soothing music in the background, light candles, and hang a privacy sign on the door knob.

Remember to make plenty of eye contact. Make the other person feel like the center of your universe. Have a fun, safe, and happy Valentine's Day with your beloved.
